Dodgem-X are a spiky alternative rock band from the South Wales Valleys, influenced by the likes of Queens Of The Stone Age, Therapy?, Black Flag, Nirvana and Helmet.
Over several years the band have gigged extensively, and have played with the likes of Capdown. Adequate Seven, The Blackout, Kids In Glasshouses, Midasuno, Dave McPherson (InME) Reaper In Sicily and many others.
Reformed after an extended hiatus in 2011, the band have had a phenomenal reaction to their first official single “Action Man”, which picked up large amounts of local radio airplay, as well as some airplay on Radio 1. They then released their debut album “If You Don’t Want To Know The Score, Look Away Now” through Rekords Of Mass Destruction, Followed by EPs “After The Horse Has Bolted” and last year’s “Don’t Mention My Name On The Airwaves” (available on iTunes, Amazon, eMusic, Napster, Spotify etc).
