A former Welsh artist of the Week on BBC Radio Wales, Georgia Paterson is a singer-songwriter with an acoustic pop/folk sound. She worked with renowned producer Charlie Francis (REM, The Noisettes) on her recent debut EP Hear Your Voice. Georgia is no stranger to working with renowned musicians – her debut single Thought it Might be You being produced by Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers, Mel C), with Catatonia’s Aled Richards on drums. She could have been a doctor, a clinical psychologist or a scientist – but as it is, Georgia has found her home making her own brand of folk-pop, laced with the fearlessness and confidence of someone who knows just who they are. Georgia is Welsh and wears her heart on her sleeve – much to the benefit of her music, with a raw lyrical honesty lying behind the super ear-worm melodies.

“Georgia Paterson merges catchy hook laden nuggets with lyrics that draw you in and make you want to know more. Her songs are refreshing and she looks like she loves what she does…certainly one to watch.” Alan Thompson, BBC Radio Wales
